Scaffold-Fast (Ottawa) Inc. was founded in 1955 by Maurice Fast, a visionary entrepreneur driven by the desire to launch his own scaffolding business. With his ambition and innovative ideas, he laid the foundation for a company that would become a major player in Eastern Ontario.

Before creating the Installation department at Scaffold-Fast (Ottawa) Inc. in 2015, Maxime Chouinard first founded a specialized company called Installation EMC, based in Quebec. This initiative aimed to meet the specific scaffolding installation needs of clients in the Outaouais region. Building on the success of this first company and aware of the growing demand for turnkey services, Maxime then integrated this expertise into Scaffold-Fast by officially launching its Installation department, allowing the company to better support its clients at every stage of their projects.

In 2023, recognizing the strong potential of the Quebec market, Maxime Chouinard decided to expand his offerings by founding Échafaudage MTL. Based in the Greater Montreal area, the company was created to meet a growing demand for scaffolding rental, sales, and installation. Thanks to his experience gained in the Outaouais region, Maxime seized the opportunity to better serve Quebec with comprehensive solutions tailored to the realities of the local market.

Échafaudages MTL has officially become PriMis Scaffolding Solutions, a new identity that reflects our commitment to adapting to current market realities. This strategic shift was born out of a context marked by economic uncertainty, labor shortages, evolving regulatory standards, and growing environmental concerns. With PriMis, we affirm our commitment to innovation, flexibility, and the provision of scaffolding solutions that are increasingly sustainable, efficient, and tailored to our customers' needs.
